Garda Lake
The Lake of Garda, the largest and the most visited lake lies between Alps and the lowland of Po. It is surrounded by high mountains from the north and reminds one of a north European fjord. The valley is widening towards south and the lake occurs like the sea. There are many towns around the lake ideal for a vacation, with Sirmione, Gardone, Riva del Garda being the nicest.

Hotel DORE´ ***
Dore'sa elegant hotel located in the center of the town of Castelnuovo del Garda, which is a strategic location for exploring the land between the city of Verona and Lago di Garda. About 3km from the hotel is "Gardaland" legendary amusement park in Italy.
The Roman poet Catullus was amazed by the beauty of Sirmione, which is even nowadays a touristic hot spot. In spite of many tourists and hotels (90), the atmosphere is calm and peaceful. The dominant feature of Sirmione is Castello Scaligero, a castle situated on a little island connected with the land by a bridge. The historical centre of the town is accessible only on foot. There is Gardaland not far from the town, which is an Italian version of Disneyland. It lures visitors with dinosaurs, pirate ships and amazing statues.
Gardone Riviera used to be the most elegant resort by the lake, but it is marked with tourism these days. It is located on the western shore of the lake in a small cove. The sights worth visiting are local botanical garden or Annunzi’s villa.
Gargnano is a spot for mountain bikers and windsurfers, as there is OK-surf park at the end of the town, where the lovers of extreme sports can enjoy a great time.
Riva del Garda lies on the northern shore of the lake. It is the most visited and the most populated resort in the area of the Lake Garda. It has an exciting German history, which might be the reason why there are many tourists from Germany and Austria. The visit of a local museum or a hundred meters high waterfall in the distance of only 3 km from the town can be a nice experience.
