Southern Dalmatia
The smallest and southernmost part of Croatia consists of three parts, each one is different. The northern part is the river delta near the town of Ploče, which is more economic area. Another part is the peninsula Pelješac, Croatia's second largest peninsula and at the end is known Dubrovnik Riviera, one of the most attractive areas of the Adriatic coast, with the attraction of the city of Dubrovnik. The southern Dalmatia includes the Elafity islands and island of Korčula, Mljet and Lastovo. The area is typical for Mediterranean climate with dry, sunny and very hot summers.
