North Dalmatia
The region of Dalmatia spreads south from famous Zadar town to the gulf of Kotor that belongs to Montenegro state. To see Dalmatia from the tourism point of view we devide it into north, central and southern part. North Dalmatia begins with Zadar resort which still breaths a peaceful smalltown air despite its 80,000 inhabitants. Another significant seaside resort of this part is Šibenik and further south Trogir that is said to be the most beautiful historical jewel of croatian coast.

While the northern tip between Karlobag and Starigrad - Paklenica is quite inhospitable coast near Velebit, middle part is flat and not very attractive. However, the southern part is nice, typical Dalmatian coastline indented with relatively rich vegetation.
In addition, the area is also attractive to their natural environment, in particular, national parks of Paklenica, Velebit, Krka and Kornati, national parks and Lake Vransko jezero and Telascica.
Recreational resorts are mostly small, but there aren´t missing the big tourist objects near Zadar, Vodice, Sibenik. The beaches are mostly pebble, rocky and sandy, sometimes with concreting surfaces.
Adjacent islands Vir, Ugljan, Pasman, Dugi Otok are also looking by turists. These islands, however, are not very popular, so holidaymakers can find here intact nature, small private corners and peace.
