The third largest island in the Kvarner Bay is located on the south and is connected with the mainland by a bridge which ensure to it such an expansion. The surface of the island is diverse, in the southwest of the island is low and the north is high and steep. Most of the island is rocky and bare, except for the west coast, which is overgrown by pine trees.
