Umag is the largest city of Umag Riviera, despite it´s small, cozy town and port. Their flowering recorded at the time of Roman domination, during which the town became a popular summer tourist area. The city is also famous for its offer of sports, especially for tennis players and windsurfers. Croatians call it the "City of tennis", thanks to the World Grade Male ATP tournament.

Vacation Umag
In the northern part of town is one of the best ports on the Adriatic, ACI marina. Since 1999, the marina, award "Blue Flag" for clean sea water and built facilities that are essential for the development of windsurfing in the area.
The town also offers a rich history and historical monuments. On the entrance to the historic center there is a remarkable church St. Roche from the 16th century. From other attractions you can visit the parish church of the Assumption and St. Pelegrin in Baroque style, and many streets with medieval houses.
