Istria is the largest city located in southern tip of the peninsula. Over 3000 - Annual history offers facilities especially for lovers of culture and history. The biggest influence on the development of the city was Roman domination, during which there were built the most famous predominant like Arena, which is a replica of a Roman amphitheater, the temple of Augustus and Rome, the Arc de Triomphe, the Roman theater. From other periods in the city there are numerous churches, chapels and impressive streets.

The city is divided into several parts, which are built tourist resorts. The most famous parts are Fažana, Štinjan, Medulin, Pješčana Uvala, Punta Verudela and Premantura. Brijuni National Park is a natural pearl of Pula, which was often visited by the the world's leaders in past regime. On one of the islands Josip Broz Tito had his summer residence.

Fažana is a small fishing village about 8 km north of Pula directly opposite the Brijuni archipelago. The town is organized daily boat trips to the islands.

Medulin is particularly known for its sandy beach on the peninsula Kašteja which is looking especially by families with small children. In Medulin is built camping and hotel resorts. The village also offers sport possibilities: volleyball, windsurfing, mini golf, tennis, diving.
Premantura is located on a peninsula Kamenjak, which adds her a specific character. You will find small rocky beach, which give the coast a beautiful blue-green tint. The area offers accommodation particularly in the four Camps.

Punta Verudela is one of the most visited parts of Pula, and it is perfectly equipped. Located about 8 km from Pula, where you will also walk the coastal promenade. The village is situated on a small elevated peninsula, which is covered by a complex of apartments with swimming pools and water slides, tennis courts, restaurants and shops. The resort is popular especially for families with children. The beaches here are mostly rocky.

Pješčana Uvala is situated directly over Punta Verudela about 4 km from the town of Pula. It offers mostly apartment style of accommodation. The name has been given by a natural sandy beach, where it is located. Most of the beaches are rocky. In the resort you will also find restaurants, discos, bars and shops.
