Central Dalmatia > Stari Grad - island Hvar

The most visited centers are the towns of Hvar, Jelsa, Stari Grad and Vrboska. Although tourism is well developed, articulated through the coast, there is still not built many coves with pebble beaches. The town of Hvar itself has limited opportunities for bathing. Hotels have built concrete slabs for sunbathing and swimming. Better beaches are near the hotels in Stari Grad, but swimming in the local bay is not recommended. Hotels in all centers offer a wide range of sporting activities. Nudists prefer to search for nearby beaches and islands Jerolim and Zečevo.

Flavoured lavender and rosemary fields, green gardens with cypruses, oleanders, oranges and lemons, narrow streets of ancient cities, are the charms that make Hvar is very sought after. Another important fact, which is shaping the island to the high tourist traffic, is a pleasant climate throughout the year.
