Makarska Riviera stretches the length of 60 km from the beautiful bay Vrulje between Omis and Brela to the village Zaostrog, which lies about 20 km from the town of Ploce. Characteristic are coves with gravel and small stones, sometimes with fine sand and mountain Biokovo, which stretches along the length of the Riviera, and rises directly from the sea. Villages and towns are thus built on the slopes Biokovo.
Definitely worth a visit as well as the islands of Solta, Brac, Hvar, Vis, or a small group of islands Pakleni islands are a paradise for naturist.
Trips can take in historical sites Trogir, Split or Omis, you just come here for their fans and the sport especially in Omis, where the beautiful canyon of river Cetina is suitable for rafting, in addition, windsurfers here have their favorite places, especially in the island of Brac in the town of Bol. Today is starting to develop in the area hiking in the mountains and we can´t forget the famous pilgrimage town of Medjugorje in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
