The traditional family-led hotel Alber Alpenhotel is located in the center Mallnitz at an altitude of 1200 km. Mallnitz Railway Station around 2 km, about 117 km Airport Klagenfurt.

Cabins ski area Ankogel - Mallnitz is about 4 kilometers from the hotel, stopping about 50m Skibus free. Mölltaler Glacier is about 23 kilometers away.
