This picturesque romantic town with its old fishing
tradition was founded 2000 years ago by the old Romans. The town
is situated on the Venetian Bay and it is about 50 km from Venice.
The historical centre with the Romanesque - Byzantine cathedral
and belfry, narrow alleyways and small squares will enable you to

in this oasis of tranquility. One of the interesting attractions
is a cruise by barge to the near lagoon - to the see the fishing
